The Korea Refugee Project was honored with the Adapted Program of the Year award at the 2016 Peace and Sport Awards. This recognition was given for our efforts in promoting peace and social integration through Taekwondo programs for young refugees in the Za’atari refugee camp in Jordan.
Our initiative aims to enhance the lives of refugee youth by offering opportunities for personal development, education, and social cohesion through the practice of Taekwondo. The award from Peace and Sport highlights the significant impact of our work and inspires us to continue fostering peace and hope in challenging environments.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Peace and Sport for this esteemed recognition and to all our supporters. Together, we continue to make a positive difference in the lives of those in need.
